Tsavo East / Taita Hills (Taita Salt Lick)

Day 1: Tsavo East – Salt Lick

Pickup from the hotel on the Diani coast between 4:00 AM and 4:30 AM, or from the Mombasa coast between 5:00 AM and 5:30 AM, followed by a direct transfer to Tsavo East.

En route, a 30-minute break for rest and restroom facilities.

Entry into the Park and the first safari.

Tsavo East is known for its “Red Elephants” and is one of the largest parks in Kenya, offering rich fauna and flora.

Exit from Tsavo East at around 12:00 PM and arrival at Taita Hills.

Check-in at the hotel, lunch, and then a transfer to Salt Lick for relaxation.

At 4:00 PM, another safari in Taita Hills Park, observing African landscapes and wildlife.

Return to the hotel at 6:30 PM. Dinner from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Overnight stay at Taita Salt Lick.

Possibility of organizing a night safari from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Day 2: Taita Hills – Coast

Early morning safari at 6:00 AM, observing the sunrise and searching for wild animals.

Return for breakfast at 8:00 AM.

At 9:15 AM, a leisurely departure from the Park towards Mombasa, with a stop to visit a Maasai village.

Planned return to the hotel by the ocean between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

The cost of the trip includes:

• Driver, fuel,
• Open-roofed 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser,
• Unlimited drinking water per person per day in the vehicle during safaris,
• Entrance tickets to Tsavo East and Taita Hills,
• Accommodation and full board at Salt Lick Hotel (lunch, dinner, breakfast),
• Visit to a Maasai village.

Additionally, drinks ordered with meals at the lodge are extra charges.
