Tsavo East / Taita Hills (Lion Hill Lodge)
Day 1: Tsavo East
Pickup from the hotel at the prearranged time and direct transfer through Mombasa towards Tsavo East.
A short 15-minute break at 9:00 AM.
Planned entry into Tsavo East Park through the “Bachuma” gate at 10:00 AM.
This park is famous for its “Red Elephants” and is one of the largest parks in Kenya.
Safari en route to Lion Hill Lodge, planned arrival for lunch at 1:00 PM.
Check-in, rest.
Another safari from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
Return to the lodge, dinner, overnight stay.
Day 2: Taita Hills
Early breakfast and check-out from the lodge at 7:00 AM.
Morning safari in Tsavo East Park.
Departure at 10:00 AM and transfer to Taita Hills, planned arrival around 11:30 AM.
Check-in at the lodge, the first safari in Taita, descent for lunch, and rest.
Another safari in Taita Hills Park at 4:00 PM.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at 6:30 PM.
Day 3
Early morning safari from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM, return to the lodge for breakfast.
Check-out and leaving the lodge at 9:30 AM, a short exit safari from the park.
Planned arrival at the coastal hotel at 3:00 PM.
The cost of the trip includes:
- Open-roofed safari vehicle,
- Driver and fuel,
- Park entrance fees,
- Accommodation and full board at the lodge (lunches, dinners, breakfasts),
- Unlimited water per person per day during safaris in the vehicle,
- Entrance to the Maasai village,
- Night safari in Taita Hills (additional cost).
Additionally, drinks ordered at the lodge during meals are the only extra charges.
